KETTLERCISE

What Is It?

A 60-minute class (including warm-up and cool-down) using light to medium-weight kettlebells for a combined cardiovascular and muscular (resistance training) workout which will also help improve flexibility.  It is fantastic for strengthening and training the core.  It can transform body shape.  Each carefully-structured programme is based on functional movements – swings, pushes, pulls, squats, lunges and twists.  There is no complicated choreography.  Individual coaching is given and close attention paid throughout to achieving good technique for a safe and effective workout.

Who is it for? Anyone aged 17-69 in apparent good health (and please see “Health and Safety” [can this be a link to H&S on The Small Print page?] seeking to:
improve heart, lung and muscle function
increase bone density
strengthen core
change body shape and/or lose weight
improve posture
improve balance
cross-train to improve performance in other sports, e.g. running, cycling
get fit or stay fit as part of a small, friendly and supportive group
